Nano-Immunotherapeutics
Our lab integrates magnetic nanoparticle technology with cutting-edge immunotherapy to advance the next generation of cancer treatments. We focus on enhancing the precision and efficacy of CAR T cell therapy by enabling remote, spatiotemporal control of immune cell activation. Magnetic fields allow us to guide and modulate CAR T cells directly within the tumor microenvironment, improving tumor targeting while minimizing off-target effect. This innovative approach bridges nanomedicine and synthetic immunology to overcome current limitations in cell-based therapies. We also explore how nanoparticle-based platforms can reshape immune responses and enable tunable therapeutic interventions. Through this interdisciplinary work, we aim to create smarter, safer, and more controllable strategies for treating cancer.
