SFY is a student independent science research program
for undergraduate students.

SFY Provides you an opportunity to learn and practice your scientific research such as research planning skills, laboratory experiments, research collaboration & team science and scientific presentation.

Selected students are invited to IBS HALL, where they have independent rooms for each research team and can use IBS laboratory space and research core facilities for their experiments.

SFY teams also have regular mentorship meetings with IBS faculty members, researchers and graduate students. Mentorship meeting is designed for students to obtain scientific research guidance, helpful sources, and updates on the projects progress. All participating students would be provided with scholarship and the ‘Winner Prize’ in accordance with their performance from the poster presentation.
